  8. System requirements: 
  9. Pentium 100mhz 
  10. DirectX compatible graphics accelerator and soundcard 
  11. Windows 95 + DirectX 5 or Windows 98 
  12. 1.5Mb Free hard disk space 
  13.  
  14. You can install Capsule to any directory you wish. Just unzip the
  15. files with Winzip to your chosen folder and execute capsule.exe to
  16. run the game.

  18. **** Uninstalling Capsule **** 
  19.  
  20. Capsule does NOT use the Windows Registry, so you can uninstall
  21. Capsule simply by deleting the folder containing the game.

  24. **** How to register Capsule ****

  27. Capsule is NOT freeware. You can evaluate the program for free, but
  28. if you like it and want to continue using it, you must register your
  29. copy. Registration fees in different countries are:

  41. The unregistered version reminds you regularly to register your copy
  42. when you reach level 8 or higher.  Also, you won't see all the
  43. animations and you can't complete the game.  Otherwise the
  44. unregistered version has all the features of the full.  When you
  45. register, all the restrictions are removed.

  49. pay and receive your registration code.

  51. When you receive your registration code all you have to do is enter
  52. the code to the game. Select SETTINGS in the main screen, then
  53. REGISTRATION.  Enter the name and code I send to you and you're 
  54. registered!

  87. That means you can freely copy and distribute the UNREGISTERED
  88. version of Capsule, as long as you distribute ALL the original
  89. files.  Those files are: 
  90. -CAPSULE.EXE 
  91. -GRAPHS.DAT 
  92. -SOUNDS.DAT 
  93. -README.TXT 
  94. -LUEMINUT.TXT - this is a Finnish version of README.TXT 
  95. -HOWTOPLAY.TXT 
  96. -OHJEET.TXT - this is a Finnish version of HOWTOPLAY.TXT

  98. If one or more of these files are missing, DO NOT continue using that
  99. copy, get a new copy from: http:/batman.jytol.fi/~janimm/capsule/

  101. When you register, you get free upgrades of Capsule until version
  102. 2.0. Upgrades, until version 2.0 of Capsule, will use the same
  103. registration code, so you won't need to re-register when you upgrade
  104. the game. In some cases you might have to re-enter your registration
  105. code after upgrading so make sure you write down your code and keep
  106. it in safe place.

  110. **** Problems ? **** 
  111.  
  112. 1. Game doesn't start: 
  113.  
  114. Make sure you have DirectX v5 or later installed.  DirectX libraries
  115. are not included in the Capsule package because of their large size. 
  116. You can find the latest DirectX version in the Microsoft homepages at
  117. www.microsoft.com/directx/, or, for example, included with some other
  118. game packages or on magazine cover CD's. 
  119.  
  120. This game has been successfully tested under DirextX v6. 
  121.  
  122. 2. Game is too slow: 
  123.  
  124. When in the main game screen press F12 and you will see the FPS rate
  125. in the lower righthand corner of your screen. If the FPS rate is less
  126. than 60, your computer can't run Capsule fast enough.  If you have a
  127. 100mhz or less Pentium with a 1MB graphics accelerator, your system
  128. may be too slow.  If this is not a case, check that your graphics
  129. accelerator and soundcard drivers are 100% DirectX compatible.
  130. Check out the newest drivers at your hardware manufacturers'
  131. homepages.

  133. 3. Game is too fast: 
  134.  
  135. If the FPS rate is greater than 80, the game might be unplayable.
  136. Some Pentium II systems, with a fast graphics accelerator, can have
  137. FPS rates as high as 150.  Try changing the monitor refresh rate from
  138. -Optimal- to a lower setting, this will most likely solve the problem.
  139. The cause of this behavior is unknown.
